Today we drive to Edinburgh with a visit to historic Stirling Castle. We enjoy a second night at the beautiful Hilton Dunkeld Hotel. Later we will drive to the village of Kirriemuir to visit the birthplace of J.M. Participants will tour one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland and learn about how the golden drink is created. Today we enjoy lunch in a lovely village and then tour Edradour distillery, a single malt whisky distillery based in Pitlochry. Our group dinner will be held at the Hilton Dunkeld in Dunkeld. Our next stop will be in the Central Highlands at the Sheepdog display at Kincraig. We will stop for lunch along the route at Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness. Today we leave around noon on a beautiful drive along Loch Ness and across central Scotland to Dunkeld. Stay overnight again at The Lovat Arms Hotel, Fort Augustus. Lunch today is in Fort Augustus followed by a journey through some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland, The Isle of Skye.Īlong the way we will stop and visit the iconic Eilean Donan Castle.ĭinner will be at a restaurant or pub nearby. We will stop for a 1 hour cruise on beautiful Loch Katrine (Setting of Sir Walter Scott’s Lady of the Lake.) Today we leave Glasgow and drive into the Scottish Highlands, along the shores of Loch Lomond, stopping for lunch along the way. Stay one more night at the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow.
